I bring life to digital products by ensuring they are user-friendly, easily accessible, & aesthetically appealing
Senior UX/UI Designer
Based in
The Netherlands
Brief bio
I am a UX/UI Designer located in the Netherlands with a passion for both systematic research and the intersection of human interaction with technology. I specialize in crafting appealing navigation components to deliver human-centered solutions.
I achieved a significant breakthrough while serving as a Quantitative Analyst at the Central Bank of Chile, focusing on unraveling the underlying motivations behind people's financial decisions. This experience marked my initial realization that individuals' choices are driven more by emotions than rationality. Subsequently, I quickly developed a keen interest in attitudinal and behavioral research.
Once graduated
Shortly after
I transitioned to roles as a Researcher and later as a Digital Editor at Amnesty International. In these positions, I played a key role in determining the written content for their digital platforms. This immersion in the digital industry deepened my fascination with the iterative user-centered design process.
Driven by my passion for observing behaviors, I have explored nearly 40 countries (and continue to do so), enhancing my ability to develop a profound cultural understanding. This, in turn, proves invaluable in deciphering people's behaviors and needs. In essence, I am thoroughly captivated by the process of observing behaviors and consistently seek novel ways to enhance the overall user experience, emphasizing usability, accessibility, and desirability.

Everyday work using the Design Thinking Methodology
My set of Skills
With experience in both, agile, & scrum frameworks, I push ideas forward using quantitative and qualitative methodology within a design thinking approach to understand human behavior and gain actionable insights for the successful development of experience strategies, applying psychology and data science to digital products and campaigns.
Research
Empathize
First-hand collection of qualitative data, including methodologies such as ethnography, grounded theory, discourse analysis, and interpretative phenomenological analysis, is complemented by quantitative research for data analysis.
UX/UI Design
Define/Ideate
Design concepts are elucidated through the creation of information architecture, diagrams, and golden paths, facilitating the seamless transition of interface design from initial conception to the ultimate hand-off to the engineering phase.
Prototype
Implement
Wireframing, interactive prototyping, and validating artboards from inception to completion, ultimately producing high-fidelity, pixel-perfect mock-ups using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision.
Webzine Alt+F
Fully responsive online platform for a digital magazine tailored to cater to the preferences and objectives of environmentally conscious readers. Our design ensured a seamless and consistent branded experience, engaging users with content that aligns with eco-friendly values.

Cheer App!
Conceived amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, which compelled us to stay indoors and restrict interactions, we navigated a new lifestyle where maintaining a six-foot distance became the closest connection outside our households. Yet, the fundamental need for meaningful social connections persisted unmet during lockdowns. Acknowledging this, my objective was to aid individuals in overcoming feelings of loneliness by simulating social celebrations to the best extent possible.
Cheer App! was chosen among The Best Android and iOS App Designs by DesignRush in 2024.
Virtual parties to overcome loneliness, foster belonging, and cultivate inclusion
L'Hexagone
L' Hexagone it’s a Dutch business intending to strengthen its online wine sales due to the drop of in-shop sales as a cause of the movement restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Even though L’Hexagone focuses on strict selection criteria to bring only the highest quality wines from France to their boutique, this prestige is not reflected in its digital platform so I set out to redesign it.
Redesigning the interface of an e-commerce platform
Aigent
Aigent, a Dutch AI startup with offices in Amsterdam and New York, focuses on the development of cloud-based software. Our expertise lied in leveraging AI to empower call center managers while enabling them to seamlessly generate real-time, content-based guidance for their agents. As the sole UX/UI designer at the company, I spearheaded a thorough redesign of our SaaS platform. This encompassed ensuring AAA compliance, optimizing responsiveness across diverse screen sizes and devices, improving user-friendliness, and infusing a modern aesthetic into the interface.

What I've been up to
Portfolio
That Little Thing
Crafting a digital product that embodies the concept of wellness, my mission was to support and inform individuals during pregnancy through an embryo development tracker. This comprehensive tool includes features such as contraction and kick counters. Specifically catering to a target market interested in understanding the awareness of their fetuses about the external environment, the product provides insights into normal embryonic changes. It also equips users to distinguish between normal and abnormal developments, enabling them to anticipate and respond to any unexpected situations during pregnancy.
